    Re: Strawberry Fields

With all due respect, good things seem to take an extra long amount of time in OKC. Having gone through the filing process with our city, I feel like that is one big reason why construction takes so...

    Re: Strawberry Fields

I would be surprised, better yet shocked if 25% of this property gets developed in the next 10 years.

    Re: Bricktown Marriott Renaissance

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is likely the biggest/most significant construction project in Bricktown since the Canal and the Ballpark. Especially with it's size and location.

    Re: Oklahoma Distillery

I love how the west end of downtown is becoming a brewery hub. Anthem, Stonecloud, Lively, Angry Scotsman, the Cidery at the old Plant Shoppe and now this one.

Capacity is Capacity to the Fire Marshall, there's little to no grey area. Otherwise, everyone would make excuses for why they go over capacity. The fine for going over capacity has also increased...

    Re: BancFirst Tower

They should just implode the building and build a basketball court , but not just any basketball court. They should build a basketball court that has architectural integrity and pays homage to the...

They should add baby back ribs and paint them Purple, because any paint on this building would be better then the dump that we currently have to look at. LOL, does it really matter at the end of the...

    Re: Flamingo Apartments

Likely because a majority of the residents are students and they are gone for winter break. I live close to this complex and the parking lot is typically full of cars during the school year.

I've also visited Arbolada several times and I've never had bad service. The bartenders have always been helpful and informative on the signature drinks, even suggesting alternate liquors to us in...

I'm trying to think of what bars in the downtown area actually have table service/cocktail waitresses that don't serve food... As far as I know or recall you have to get your own drinks at any bar in...

You're absolutely right, there really isn't anything that can be done besides "Not Buy". I'll be flat out honest about my biased and dislike towards the developers of this project. I just hate...

I agree that good concepts fail just as much as bad concepts, but I personally think that execution and management play a bigger role in the success of a concept. People too often think that opening...

HA, I think we all agree that last time FlashBack tried 23rd street it didn't go so well. :D

There will only be 1 FB in OKC, FB #2 will be at least 100 miles from OKC. I like how 23rd Street has...

    Re: Miller & Johnson Building

Agreed 100%. The Elliot helps, but its still pretty far away from the core of CBD. Regardless, it will be nice to see how the height of this building will add to Midtown.

    Re: Miller & Johnson Building

I love having buildings like this fill vacant lots, but it would be nice having several 8-12 story in fills as well. If we could get 4-5 more buildings on the NW side of the CBD in the 8-12 story...

You're correct, the bright yellow is insulation. They only have the finishing siding on part of the east facing side of the building. But I believe the final color of the siding will be white.
