The arts district is in for a treat. Having first-floor shops/offices doesn't seem all that on paper. But visually and functionally, it will result in an real, old-fashioned neighborhood feel because every building will have them. Nowadays, you can only see that in older cities, when people used to live in the apartment above their business.

Personalyl, I'm glad to see downtown OKC going in this direction. Seems like all of the new developments are placing retail, offices, and restaurant space on the bottom floors, with housingon the upper floors. I'm glad to see it!
