Omelette Party 2007-EGGPOLÉON. Today z’ omelette. Tomorrow z’ world! EGGpoléon, the 23rd Annual Omelette Party, will be held Saturday, January 20, 2007, 7 p.m. to midnight, at the BricktownEventsCenter. Inspired by the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s exhibition NAPOLÉON An Intimate Portrait, this fun and exciting event will reminisce the elaborate festivities of the Napoleonic era as well as Napoléon’s own lavish coronation as Emperor. Come as Empress Joséphine or Marie-Louise, as a young First Consul Bonaparte, the majestic Emperor, or a defeated Napoléon, or just come as you are. The evening includes dancing to the band Banana Seat, an art raffle of more than 43 local artists, and, of course, gourmet omelettes prepared by area chefs and restaurants. Chefs/Restaurants include Adobe Grill Gourmet Mexicano, Bellini's Ristorante & Grill , BIN 73, Ken Bradford, Chef's Requested Foods, Chef Robert Black/Cheever's Café, The Chickasaw Nation /Bedré Chocolate, Deep Fork Grill, Museum Café, Frank Newcomb of Tony Newcomb T-Shirts, Old Germany Restaurant, Paseo Grill, Red River Tea Company, Michael Rogalin & James F. Voyles, III, Rococo with Chef Bruce Rinehart, Ruth's Sweete Justice Bakery, Chef Chip Sears, SEVEN47, The Catering Co., Tom & Jerry's Steak & Fish Grille, Trattoria Il Centro, and VZD's Restaurant & Club. Event chairs are Karen Cuellar and Cathy Lawrence. Tickets are $60 in advance and $75 at the door and include an evening of great food, cocktails, dancing, and more.
