What have you done? (or plan to do)? I know a lot of people don't like to announce their charitable acts or kindness, but I find it inspiring.. so, please share.

I plan to give old coats the the salvation army, kids in particular. I also plan to sign up to do Mobile meals.

This is no big deal but, last year we started having our kids pick out five toys each (or more if they want) that they no longer wanted or have outgrown and we give them to Goodwill. (broken toys and Happy Meal-type toys don't count. ) We ended up with two big trash bags full of old toys. I think we can do even better this year.

Ok I was wondering where to take those, because I told my kids to clean out their closets to, I just do not know what to do with it. I know some kids who want the stuff they have, but I would rather KNOW it is going to someone who REALLY needs it. CAn I call and ask them if thier is a specific family who has nothing, and give to a specific family?
