Never heard of it what its suppose menu consists of and how exspensive will it be? Rating on a scale of 1-5stars. I know the raising canes chicken fingers is kinda high and all they sell is chicken fingers and thats it, nothing else. Not a bad meal, chicken fingers frys and a couple small sides.

Is this where Joe's Crabshack used to be? Also, does anyone know what restaurant is going in the old Don Pablo's location along Ed Noble?

I may be off but it's going to be on the west side of I-35 south of Tecumseh...It is a new build and looks to be about half done

From what my memory recalls from seeing other Saltgrass restaurants built, I believe they like to build their own new building... versus renovation one.

The Saltgrass is going in in the old Black Eyed Pea/Joe's Crap Shack location.

In between the original Big Red Sports and Santa Fe Cattle Co.

I heard the Don Pablo's locations was being converted into a BJ's Brewhouse. I went to the one in Addison, TX and thought it was pretty good.

Man if that goes in that is great news...How does the beer compare to the brewery and belle isle?

Yes, the former Don Pablos locations in Norman and on Memorial are both going to be BJ's Smokehouses..

    Got this from BJ's website

Guests visit BJ’s, first and foremost, for the food. Generously portioned and artfully presented, the food is our single strongest competitive advantage. Our fanaticism about great food is matched only by our passion for exceptional service and the realization that guests’ expectations –– a union of outstanding food and caring service –– must be exceeded, not just appeased, moment to moment. Great food and exceptional service are combined with BJ’s signature “look” of controlled industrial alchemy: warm woods, brick, texture, patina and light mixed with irreverent art and BJ’s proprietary Beer Brand graphics create engaging, lively gathering places.

In the final analysis, the BJ’s environment is designed to showcase the people: a positively entertaining union of happy guests and energetic staff that can only result from great food, good folks and fun.

I like BJ's beer better than the Brewery's. I have not been to Belle Isle yet. Their Avacado Egg Rolls are great too.

I have a friend who has been to one in the Dallas metro area and he said it was a GREAT steak, but rather pricy. (don't remember the actual $$$ figure he gave)

So what's being done to the 'cement pond' next to the old Don Pablo's/new BJ's?

The old Joe's Crab Shack's parent company is Landry's Restaurants.

Saltgrass is going in the Joe Joe's Crab Shack's old location. Saltgrass's parent company is also Landry's Restaurants. Looks like they just switch the concepts since Crab Shack didn't work out.

It was always busy when I was at the one.

I was down there last week, it looks like there has been some more construction going on. The little pond had water in it, but it isn't nearly as big as I thought it was going to be. I thought it would go to the retaining wall next to BJ's and the wall on the other side, but only half of it has water.

^ Maybe when we get more rain it will fill up more? I can't tell what their plan is for that retention pond but if you look it goes back pretty far and is fairly big.
