Thread: Downtown Murals

  1. Default Downtown Murals

I'm working on a blog entry for Downtown Okc Murals. Most are easy enough to figure out, esp. those in and near Bricktown.

But, what's THIS mural (pics taken today), immediately north of the Ok County Jail, just east of Classen? Anyone?

I know nothing of the building's owner, the building's name, nor what the symbolism represents ... Sun God, what? ... but, regardless, it is very nicely done. The building looks to be a warehouse or something similar ... these pics were taken from the south side of the building but the north side appears to have no street access. Another downtown mystery!

I've seen those before too Doug. I knew what they were at the time but I can't remember worth anything.

mmm ... here's another mural I ran across today ...

... don't know how long this one will last ... Sound Warehouse, south side, NW 8th & Broadway ...

SO WHAT if it's not really a mural!
