Everyone could learn to take a joke.

Everyone had thick skin and could not be so easily offended.

Everyone tended to their own problems before interfering with the problems of others.

Everyone could learn to applaud a little more and complain a little less.

Everyone could count their blessings instead of being jealous of others.

Everyone could lend a hand instead of an insult.

Everyone just got a few more hours a sleep and an extra day off.

People understood a deal is a deal and once you buy it, the shopping is over.

commercials showed talent instead of stupidity.

employers realized we have private lives and families that need our attention

employers realized people over 50 deserve a living wage job.

bums on the streets would get jobs.

people understood people deserve to know why when a date rejectes them.

we went to the past way of moral thinking

we raised our children to be upstanding adults who respected their elders instead of calling them by their first names.

college education meant a better paying job for everyone who attended.
