Thank you very, very much! As an out-of-stater I particularly appreciate your efforts.

Did you happen to notice how the Skirvin is coming along?

Also, you must have had a photography class or two or just have a good eye, because you frame your photos very well.

    Thanks again!

Thanks Karried and Malibu. The Oklahoma River is recieving compliments from out-of-staters over at UrbanPlanet as well.

Malibu, I am taking my first photography class right now here at OBU and it is helping a lot. I have some Skirvin pics from about a month ago that I will post.

I just copied and pasted from UrbanPlanet, so don't think I'm trying to insult your intelligence with the captions.

Your photography teacher should be proud!

When I look at the sum total of everything displayed in these photos, it's simply amazing -- especially since there are tons of additional projects.

I moved away in 1989, and virtually none of what is pictured was even imagined at that time.

We all like to think about what's in the pipeline or down the road, but every once in a while you really have to step back and just say: Wow... We've come a loooong way in just over 10 years!

Sure makes me proud of my hometown.

I agree, some very nice composition there. You should submit some to Downtown, Inc., the tourism board, and the chamber of commerce. Your pics certainly portray a place I'd want to visit.

Great pics, the only downside is the dry and barren look to the pics taken by the river. I know we've been in a horrible drought and the trees are just now starting to bloom but there really needs to be A LOT more landscaping down there.

Yeah, very nice photos at offbeat angles. The close-up shots of the detailing on the older buildings speak of an OKC not many know about.

BTW, I love those views of the boathouse at sundown. It's too bad it doesn't also have some guest rooms ; I'd love to wake up to those views!

But you can reserve it for parties. In fact, the Mayor had his election watch party there last night. I met him after I finished my workout.
