Default Coney Island in downtown OKC

Ate there for lunch today. It's at Main & Walker just east of the Montgomery. This place has been an food landmark for decades and now I can see why. Great food. A coney with everything on it is only $1.25 . Very good and affordable restaurant. I highly recommend supporting this downtown icon!

Hmmmm....I might try that sometime. The two places I found are Camp Swadley's off of Rockwell and 39th (You put your own chili on) and Top Dog Coney's down in Norman (Nice price and free video games!)

Ate there again yesterday for lunch. This time I got the #6 frito chili pie with onions and cheese. Probably one of the best I've ever had. My date got a coney. We both ate for $4.50 including chips and a drink. If your looking for a down home cookinm, chili, or a coney, this is the place to be and you can't beat the price. Coney's are only $1.25 including tax. This place remains an icon and I can see why yet again. THis place has been there since 1924

This place is second on my list, right behind Mike's.

Is this the same Coney Island that is located on the strip (Washington St.) in Stillwater?

I doubt it, its been an original staple downtown since 1924. Big OU fans. Don't think they are related to the Stillwater joint. Could be wrong though.
