The best case scenario is unfolding (unless you think the warriors are less scary than the depleted kings). I’ll take a NO/SAC match up all day.

Kings beat the Warriors 118-94; eliminating the GSW--ending their season.
Sacramento will travel to New Orleans--winner will be the 8th seed--meet Thunder in the NBA playoffs.
Two 8:30 PM home games to kick things off!
Kings are not a good match up for OKC, it is crazy to not have wanted the Warriors.
Oh well don't have to worry about that now. Now that it is Kings-Pelicans, I want Pels, but (probably) without Zion, they're probably may get smacked.
If the Thunder can control Sabonis like they did in the last game I'm not worried in the slightest.
Sports news in Denver says Nuggets are "happy" to be playing against the Lakers instead of New Orleans.
If Zion is out give me Pelicans other wise Kings. So have the Thunder officially released anything on concessions being half off the first hour. I know gates are being open 1/2 hour early 6:30 but I have seen many reports concessions are half off for the first hour. However I haven't seen anything officially from the Thunder or has their been a press release
https://x.com/wojespn/status/1780652444239958457 LET'S GO PELICANS. They can still win 1 game at home without Zion. A series vs OKC without Zion I'll take that over the Kings
Email I got said all concessions 1/2 off *Does not include Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Club, Michelob Ultra Club, or suites/catered spaces. I'm wondering though if prices are going to be higher for playoffs. The $10 burger is now $13 the $7 slice of pizza is now $9 or $10. Guess we will find out Sunday.
Eh I bet they are really half off. Going to encourage more people to spend. I can't find it but the article about the Falcons dropping beer prices to 5 bucks netted them more than when they had 10 or 12 dollar beers a few years ago.
It's a late game so they might miss the dinner crowd eating at the game so gotta make up for it in snacks and alcohol!
I was able to get some Game 2 tickets for about $80 each after fees. The Sunday tickets are still pushing $140.
The Sports Animal coverage has said for 2 days now that they are opening the doors an hour early at 6:30. And the 1/2 price concessions promotion is from 6:30 to 7:30. Are they wrong? Wouldn't be the first time.
This is an email I received this morning:
Good Afternoon!
In the playoffs, every game counts. The Thunder needs you to make it count, too. Be ready to get LOUD and Thunder UP on Sunday as we host Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs at Paycom Center.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and all concessions are 50% off* from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. so you can be in your seats no later than 8 p.m. to show YOUR home court support just like our fans did during our first Playoffs appearance in 2010. It was a moment OKC will never forget, and we want to re-create that moment for our new players and coaches!
Important: Take a look at your mobile tickets now and get ready for the game! Please note, our opponent will be determined after Friday’s NBA Play-in Tournament game has concluded.
Check out the link below for the important playoff schedule, parking, mobile ticket details, and pregame Thunder in The Park Event information. We look forward to hosting you this Sunday and GO Thunder!

I always thought ticket scalping was illegal especially in Oklahoma City I look at these resale prices on Ticketmaster for the first two playoff games and think how do people get away with it? I have had to sale some of my regular season tickets on Ticketmaster but never for a profit. I looked to see when round 2 of the playoffs would start and I'm out of town those 5 days. I'm starting to wonder if I should sale my tickets if we are playing and try to make up the cost of my other tickets. I also don't want to be going to jail either. Do they just not police this or care?
^^^^^^^^^^
Selling for over face hasn’t been illegal in OKC since 2012.
Yeah I did some digging and see they changed the laws in 2012. Where have I been? No really I have never been that kind of person to resale tickets for a profit. I always thought it was illegal . I did hear through that grapevine that season tickets holders would buy extra playoff tickets to resale and make their money back but never thought twice about it. Anyway if we make it to the second round I might consider this for game 1.
Zionless Pelicans! LETS GO!!!
