I’m still a little surprised that we paid Dort. Although he is a good option if we intend to tank for a couple more years.

It’s fine. The Thunder have to pay someone and most the rest of the roster are on rookie deals.

Dort also started last season a little slow and turned it up to a high level by the end. I hope to see the same thing.

Lu Dort appears to be more frustrated with himself. He'll find his sweet stroke as he starts slow and steam rolls as the season progresses. Clippers will be making some adjustments to counter the Thunder in tonight's game.

We'll see if Paul George is feeling better. Thunder are playing better as a team with 5 turnovers and 12 steals, these early stats show that timing of team play in coming together. We'll see what adjustments the Thunder will make against the Clippers tonight.

Seeing so many players playing does allow for individuals to recoup that energy without becoming fatigued. Getting the right combinations of players to click, Mark may have stumbled on to something.

If we get on a win streak expect to see some injuries. We gotta tank it up for Wemby.

Joe’s fourth quarter was something else. (9 min and +24 for example). This team darn sure doesn’t give up!

Joe reminds me a bit of T-Ferg, but he actually knocks down J’s with regularity. The last 4 minutes of regulation and OT was an absolute masterpiece.

    .

Really impressed with the tenacity of this team's fight to continue play despite the odds.

Thunder starter Josh Giddey was out. Thunder had to fight back after being down 16 points with with less than 4 minutes to go in regulation play.

Isaiah Joe stepped up his game with some crucial 3 point shots; he contributed 15 points in 9 minutes of play leading into overtime.

Can't help but imagine what it would have been like with Josh Giddey and Chet Holmgren playing together in this season's lineup.

Mark Daignault may be the best coach the Oklahoma City Thunder has ever had.

    From Tim MacMahon:

NBA teams were 9,975-1 when leading by 16+ points in the final four minutes of the fourth quarter over the last 25 years, per @ESPNStatsInfo. Make that 9,975-2 after the Mavericks’ miracle loss to the Thunder.

Thunder had a good win against the magic. As always, impressed by SGA. Poku had one of the best games ever for him. I think he is in a contract year so good for him.

About half way thru the 4th quarter, it didn't look good for the Thunder, then Orlando started throwing up shots. Especially like the way this team feeds off one another--how they listen to their coach and follows his lead.

If they continue to play like this (4 game win streak), they could be looking toward making the playoffs. This is a well coached team.

The Thunder organization has done a fantastic job developing coaching talent internally. The majority of the current coaching staff have spent time with the blue and been given the opportunity to get experience in multiple roles between the Blue, Thunder, and player development coaches. Coach Daigneault is going to have a long tenure as the Thunder's Head Coach. He has proven to be an excellent player development coach and has really set the tone and culture on this team. Presti really made a fantastic call in hiring Mark initially and giving him the opportunity to grow into on of the most promising young coaches in the league.
