They've reposted the Executive Chef position, this time saying "New location opening Summer 2023!"

Imagine the stress of working for Gordon Ramsay!

It's not like he would be there all the time, though. I saw somebody on Reddit say that he's got 70 restaurants around the world, and he only visits any one of them maybe once every year, year-and-a-half. The rest of the time he's making TV shows, I guess!

Yeah, I realize it wouldn't be like his reality show, BUT, companies take on the personality of their leaders, and his culture would be intense.

Is this still supposed to be opening “Summer 2023”?

I would say late summer or early fall.

They have been working away inside.

We are at a regular haunt and the kitchen manager who is way under employed by his education and experience is leaving to go to a month of training as the sous chef for Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen. He's been told opening should happen shortly after he returns.

Some signage visible from the freeway today. Westbound on the Kilpatrick.

Surprised there hasn’t been a hotel announcement or any new project for CC in a while.

    They keep telling me 'soon'.

I see one of those windows says "Opening Late 2023"; this job advertisement says "New location opening this Fall!"

    Sounds about right.

Yes, late fall is what I've been hearing.

I'm sure they'd like to be open before the holidays and seem to be moving pretty quickly now.

Not really loving that Serif font they chose, but everything else looks first rate imo.

The water used to be a nice bluish-green. I can't think of one water feature in OKC that didn't eventually turn brown. Clay dirt is undefeated.

Depending on when Pete took those photos, it could just be brown because it had rained a lot recently and water ran off into the reservoir. The Oklahoma River is always brown for a little while after heavy rain events for this reason, but goes back to blue once we've gone a few days without rain.

That is because it is going to be soon. These folks just keep their cards really close to their chest. They have some pretty cool projects in the works I haven't seen any mention of on here.

I talk to them all the time but won't reveal anything until they are ready.

I've learned to trust Pete! He says that we will be impressed and excited for stuff upcoming in this project, as well as OAK. Just waiting is the hardest part. Tom Petty was right.

If a developer tells me about something and it's not in any public documents, I'm not going to post it without their approval.
