This will be a good addition to the skyline.

I think the window spacing and window width are cool elements.

It is gorgeous architecture reminiscent of the best of midcentury design.

I think this will end up being one of my Top 5 favorite 5+ story buildings in OKC.

Does anyone else find this a reminder of a smaller scale Liberty/Chase/CotteRanch/BancFirst tower?

Aw come on, at least that front side. Spindly white legs, dark side with the rectangle windows, little off colored crown.

Now any other angle, absolutely not. But you dont see it all??

When it is built let’s resurrect this thread.

I see it. I had the same thought! I think it's the first floor area that really makes it feel familiar to me.

There are 161 posts and counting in an active thread about Jimmy’s Egg.

If people want to discuss this new CBD office tower, why shouldn’t they?

Has nothing to do with not talking about it. Just meant that’s when it is built let’s resurrect the thread and see if anyone thinks it looks like the bancfirst tower. Context is important in the thread.

Any word on if they're still looking to start construction this year?

I just checked and they are still going back and forth with the city so they can get their building permit approved.

It's a normal process that takes a bit of time with bigger projects.

I know they are anxious to start and they recently received approval for their TIF grant.

Not sure if this happened recently or if they did it when they announced the project, however, the parking lot is now completely blocked to traffic with a port-a-potty or two on site as well.

Could be nothin, could be somethin, figured I'd share.

Sounds like a subversive art installation for surface parking lots in the city core.
