Thread: IBC Bank @ N. May Ave & United Founders Blvd

Northwest OKC IBC Bank @ N. May Ave & United Founders Blvd

I noticed that the IBC Bank on United Founders Blvd is no longer in business. All signage has been removed. I'm curious if they have completely exited the OKC market.

I do not think they are leaving our market because they still have a branch in Edmond.

No, they haven’t. They developed their own charter in 2016 and are here to stay, but they are very conservative in their lending practices and don’t pay their employees very well, so the service at their branches is less than stellar. They have entered into the Dallas market (as part of the Oklahoma charter) and are focusing on development down there. Lots of ops in the DFW area for what they are needing borrowers to come to the table with.

I noticed a roll off dumpster in the parking lot of the former IBC Bank. Does anyone know who the new owner is? Thanks.

Just happy this building will be occupied again. Once the OnCue gets built, this corner will be in a lot better shape. Anyone know what is going on with the renovation of the former Nancy's across May Ave.? Work seems to have stalled.

It was to be a cannabis dispensary.
