Thread: DUI arrest that didn't get much play in Oklahoma media

Default DUI arrest that didn't get much play in Oklahoma media

I'm always amazed how a tabloid newspaper in London can get more detailed news than the local media.

Why should it get media attention. He’s just a 21yo who isn’t anyone special himself. Just because his aunt is well known shouldn’t really be a reason his mistake should be broadcast for entertainment news.

He’s not a public figure. He’s not an elected official. He just happens to be related to someone who is well known and also from a wealthy family. I’m sure it made the same news any DUI in the rural area woukd have

It would have made the local news if it was a slow news day. TMZ covered it, which is right up their alley. Even then, I doubt it got TMZ that many clicks.

It's not local news. Osage County is closer to Tulsa.

And here in Oklahoma County, 3-4 months between the arrest and a formal charge being filed is pretty much how long it takes, so I don't think there's any funny business at all with this taking 1 month to get to formal charges.

Why do I feel like Brett is more of a Paula Dean or Racheal Ray fan?
