Thread: Harbor Freight coming to NW HWY & Council

Default Harbor Freight coming to NW HWY & Council

I'm not much of a Harbor Freight patron, but I thought I'd mention that I saw a sign
announcing they are coming to NW HWY & Council next to the Ollie's store.

Just figured some of you folks who buy tools and related stuff might find this closer
    to your home or work.

Cool! HF is great for cheap “I need this tool for one time only” tool purchases. I’m glad to see one so close to home.

This! I bought a couple of things from the one near me in Denver and the quality was - let's just say - really, really low.

Totally depends what you buy. Plenty of their hand tools are great for home use for many many years. I'd guess 80% of my rolling tool chest is from HF. I'm not a big fan of their power tools and find I can often go Ryobi for not much more money and feel much more confident in my purchase.

    Just an FYI...

They recalled some of their jack stands due to failure. I buy cheap stuff from there, but not something I trust my life with for this reason.

Jack stands from Harbor Freight...you don’t value your life getting under those!

I’ve bought two US general tool chest combos from HF. A 26” that I keep at home and a 44” I have at work. They’re the best tool box value out there. They also have their ICON line which competes directly with Snap On, Mac, etc.

My Shop Vac died on me, and I needed a cheap vac fast. I bought their 5 gallon $40 wet/dry vac, and have used the heck out it, and it keeps going. The only thing I don’l like is that it has odd ball hose and attachments, and I couldn’t use any of my accessories that fit my Shop Vac.

    I like this news.

Yes- only use HF for things that don’t involve a risk of death or serious injury if it broke!
