Any data available on the impact this has on landing fees & other revenue loss @ OKC. Is that reported somewhere?

Would be interesting to see how OKC's flight losses compare to other similar-sized airports. Is OKC getting the shaft more than, say, Omaha? Just curious.

I live out by WRWA, and I'll say this much, I haven't seen near the planes lately.

    Everyone is getting the axe.

UA's systemwide loadfactor yesterday was 14.8%.

We only flew 10,000 passengers yesterday, across the entire system. That would be 60 full 737-900's. In normal times we operate 4,000 flights a day.

Lots of Eskimo faces as Alaska Airlines is now storing several of their planes on the AAR ramp. They are planning to store around 30 of their 230 aircraft. OKC, SAT and GSO (sister AAR locations) will house the stored mix of 737s and A319/20s.

TUL currently has about 50 of AA's ships including many 737 MAX 8 (since spring 2019), 757s, 777-200s and 777-300ERs. The entire 787-8/9 fleet is being stored there as well. The 757s are scheduled to be retired early and reportedly have already flown their last revenue flights (very sad).

Hopefully, neither OKC or TUL will see large hail anytime in the next several weeks. Yikes.

Since I'm not a plane guy, but I am a film guy, every time I see UA, I think United Artists and wonder for about 2 seconds, then my left brain kicks in.

Drove down by the airport just to get out and saw about ten Alaskan Airlines planes parked near the hangars.

Effective pretty much immediately. A lot of changes, so forgive me for any errors.

Until 6/3, AA reduces OKC-DFW to 5x daily, down from 8 (9 last year). Downgauge to all regional jets for May.
Until 6/4 AA suspends OKC-LAX. Previously resumed May 6.
Until 6/4 AA reduces OKC-ORD to 5x weekly, will not operate Tu, Sa. Down from 2x daily (5x daily last year)
Until 6/4 AA reduces OKC-MIA to 6x weekly, will not operate on Tuesdays. Down from 1x daily (Up from 0 daily last year)
Until 6/4 AA reduces OKC-PHX to 5x weekly, will not operate on Tu, Sa. Down from 1x daily (Down from 2x daily last year)
Until 6/4 AA suspends OKC-PHL. Previously resumed May 6.
    Until 6/4 AA suspends OKC-DCA.

In summary for AA, a peak weekday flight schedule in May would now be:

    OKC-DFW 5x
    OKC-CLT 2x
    OKC-ORD 1x
    OKC-MIA 1x
    OKC-PHX 1x

A Tuesday schedule would just be the 5 trips to DFW and 2x to CLT.

Man, I really hope OKC is not getting the shaft from these airlines, Seems a lot of flights are getting cut or suspended for a long time.

I get it is happening all over the country, sure. Just curious what other airports are losing, by comparison.

    Have a look for yourself

    https://www.airliners.net/forum/view...?f=3&t=1444097

To help you read this report:

    AA DFW-OKC MAY 9>5[9]

9>5[9] means "previously scheduled as 9 daily, going to 5 daily (9>5). 9 daily was the previous number of daily flights for the same booking period last year [9].

If it makes you feel any better, AA will only be operating 31 daily flight at LAX. UA is cutting EWR to 15 daily flights. LGA is getting cut to 2x daily flights.

UA is only operating 160 flights today in Denver, down from 525 flights. So, everyone is getting reduced big time. Not just OKC.

Haha, it doesn't make me feel better, since I know this is crushing the economy all over the nation. But dang, UA with only 15 in Newark?!

There's really no reason to expect OKC to get hurt more than anyone else, because there isn't a single part of the country that isn't at least somewhat of a COVID hotspot at this point. It's just a terrible situation all the way around.

The only way I could see OKC eventually getting hurt more than anyone else, is if OKC has to remain locked down longer than other cities for whatever reason. And as far as I can tell, there's no way of knowing that right now.

I noticed WN 1x/daily TUL-DEN. Some days no nonstops. Returns to 2x/daily June 6.
