Which browser? The browser itself may be infected. Clear browsing data; may need to reinstall the brower.

Or you can open a browser in incognito mode and that should resolve the issue.

Same here when I use my iPhone. It doesn't happen on Windows using Chrome.

Clear your browsing cache on your phone.

Still happening. Multiple devices, multiple browsers. It's an embedded script Pete. If they haven't been able to find it in the php pages, then they haven't been looking at the other file (like the htacess file). If you look at the whole code of the main page, you will probably find a reference to a script somewhere. Browsers can disable those (cross-scripting and the like), which is why some people aren't seeing it. But the infection is still there. Clearing the cache doesn't actually DO anything for this because it's not a cache problem. The script is going to be called form the page and the script is probably loaded on your site, but it's possible just calling a script reference from another URL too. Whatever you're paying these guys to look at it, they aren't doing a good job.

Weird, I got rampant redirects. Then I cleared my cache and browsing history and it all went away. That was the only thing I did.

This morning I cleared all browser data and I haven't had redirects. It seemed clearing just the cache was not working for me. I use Chrome on a PC.

After Pete said the hosting company finished their cleaning, I was still getting redirects. Cleared the cache, and we're all good. Haven't gotten anything since and the only difference was the cache clear.

The ability to format posts has been reinstated.

If there are any remaining issues, please advise.

iOS Mobile still suffers from a number of popups (any time a link is clicked), most of which will take to the User to either pornography or a website that automatically opens the App Store or Music Store.

Clearing your browsing data should resolve that.

I was having same issue on Safari/iphone. In Safari open that book looking thing on bottom and then once it opens you will see a “clear” button on bottom. Do that and just remember you will have to reenter passwords again. But it worked for me no more redirects

    Should be clear now.

  22. Default OKCTalk is STILL infected

Just because the other thread got closed, doesn't mean the problem went away.

    It's still there.

And the script is still active regardless of which browser I use and if i've cleared my cache or not. Whomever is doing the "clean up" is failing badly. This is a script problem....the fact you can click anywhere on the page (not just a link) shows that it's not in the forum code, it's in the SITE code. The person cleaning this apparently doesn't understand how these things work.

The forum code itself is riddled with code errors too (uncaught exceptions and references, css properties missing, etc). GoDaddy apparently is the host, but they've had a RASH of this same problem with a lot of their customers lately. And people who pay their "cleanup" fee are just getting used because they aren't fixing the problems. Their reputation has really been hurt in the last year. I would strongly suggest looking at a new location.

The other thread did not get closed; I merged your post.

The issue keeps reoccurring when I upload photos so we're trying to figure out why that is happening. The problem is not "still there"; the site gets cleaned then reinfected. We are not hosted by GoDaddy.

    Should soon be resolved.
