Thread: Piatto Italian Kitchen

  1. Northwest OKC Piatto Italian Kitchen

Has anyone tried this restaurant yet? We live in the area and it's very busy so far. We got a to-go menu, and it looks like another very expensive place to me. Would love to see some reviews.

I went to a pop up dinner of theirs. They pride themselves on having fresh pasta on hand for everything. None of the items I had at the dinner appear to be on the menu though.

SE corner of NW 63rd & May. Outparcel building used to be a Wood Fired Grille, or something like that.

Was first the Meat Market Refectory, then just MMR then Union Woodfire Grill, then closed briefly before this new concept.

Read this a while ago, not surprised it's expensive, he worked at Coach House, Vast, and The George. Will wait for a month or two for the dust to settle, then we'll probably hit it up for some kind of special occasion.

I really like the bar at this place. It's beautiful and classy and you can always order small plates if you don't want to spring for a full-on expensive meal.

From the Joklahoman article, it sounds like they kept most of the decor, floors, etc. - is that the case (it was really nice when we ate there during the Meat Market Refectory phase)?

Yes, I think the inside is almost exactly the same. Which is a good thing.
