Pete, I just want to say thank you for all that you do and the updates you provide. This is a pretty excited development. Is the Kimray development completed dead or shelved?
Do we know the total investment in this?
Courts going in:
i believe this is open.
i think they had some tournament last weekend
They opened today.... Holy cow!
This place is massive and impressive as hell.
Tons of space outdoors and 3 huge indoor areas: 2 on the ground floor and 1 upstairs as well as a huge 2nd level deck.
I actually played a bit of pickleball with one of the staff. I'm a lifelong tennis player so it takes some getting used to (the ball is like a wiffle ball and barely bounces) but is a fast, fun game.
Huge rectangular bar downstairs, another long bar upstairs, then a big outdoor bar.
Dog and kid friendly. Will draw big crowds.
I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was quite good; it's not Nashville style, it's a regular fried chicken breast with buffalo sauce. Quite spicy and juicy. Fries were excellent. Lots of beers on tap and full bar.
Once the weather gets nicer and word gets out, this place is going to be very popular.
Looks awesome!
Also, got to think this would have KILLED it in the Boathouse District or somewhere near Scissortail Park. Not that it won’t here, just saying.

Once you know it's there, it's a pretty good location in that it's easy to get to from Edmond and most of NW OKC.
Like Chisholm Creek, I'll be meeting my Edmond friends there a lot. I was seriously impressed and I loved my food.
I'm going in this week. THanks for the reminder.
They are going to have to sell a lot of chicken to cover the overhead of the facility. Good luck.
Probably the alcohol they sell will do the heavy lifting
The concept is a lot like topgolf. They sell the game and then food as an addition. The entertainment and alcohol is their sales.
They aren’t making their money by being a restaurant. I don’t see it as a destination to just got eat mainly. You’re going for the social and entertainment
Having said all that, their food has a good reputation and I really enjoyed my chicken sandwich and fries.
Stood out even though everyone has chicken sandwiches these days.
And I will say it's a great sports bar. Dozens of places to watch games inside and out. And I'm looking forward to taking my dog.
I was just very impressed by the entire operation; very professional and well done.
i went to the one in Wichita last year, a mere couple of weeks before COVID blew up the planet. It was a hell of a good time. Great place for the gang to hang out, or a family outing, it is a great time. However, i cannot imagine a worse time to open such an establishment. I wish them luck, because it is a great place in a non "everything is on fire and sucks" world.

There is a massive outdoor area and a big 2nd level outdoor deck.
It's not a good time to open any restaurant, but by this summer things should be much better.
I can't wait until the weather warms up. We're just a few miles away, and the wife and I are already making plans and expect we'll be regulars, depending on the crowds.
Our Facebook post on Chicken N Pickle got an absolutely monster response, which demonstrates the strong interest:
