Excited for this to open. It’s very well thought of in Phoenix. And, Torchys has been killing it next door. This area has lots of great eating options and getting better.

The pics look great Pete, and the building is even better in person. Nice addition to the corner. WAY better than another drive in bank like it replaced. Some tear-downs are worth it.

If Fox ever brings a Wildflower here, I'm going to be morbidly obese and bankrupt.

    Press release:

    ******************

FLOWER CHILD HEADS TO OKLAHOMA CITY
Flower Child, the beloved healthy fast-casual eatery from Fox Restaurant Concepts, will open its highly-anticipated, Oklahoma City location on Tuesday, August 25. Found at 1144 NW 63rd St., Flower Child looks forward to spreading its soul-satisfying mission of positively delicious vibes to its first location in Oklahoma.

Flower Child will be open for limited-capacity dine-in, patio dining, to-go orders with pick-up, curbside pick-up and contact-free delivery options. Guests to the new Oklahoma City location are also encouraged to use Flower Child’s app for a convenient and contactless experience while earning exclusive rewards.

The Flower Child menu will offer a healthy and balanced dining experience—with a selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan menu items for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, along with a robust catering program. Menu categories include Starters, Salads, Entrées, Bowls, Wraps, a variety of Side options and a Healthy Kids menu. Guests can also add proteins to any dish—or order as an entrée—including chicken, salmon, steak, shrimp, and tofu. Mainstay Flower Child menu items include the Glow Bowl with spicy sweet potato noodles, bok choy, zucchini, onion, jalapeno, shiitake mushroom, coconut milk and sunflower butter; Thai Dye Wrap with spicy tofu, thai basil, avocado, carrot, daikon radish, cilantro and snap pea; and the Organic Kale Salad with pink grapefruit, organic apple, red cabbage, black currant, smoked almond, white cheddar and an apple cider vinaigrette.

The new Flower Child Oklahoma City location will also open with Flower Child’s summer menu items including the Vegan Artichoke Salad, Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon Salad, Charred Asparagus Slaw and the Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon side dish option.

As the restaurant will be open with a limited capacity, Flower Child has taken steps to ensure the health and safety of their guests and their team. Some of the measures they have taken are:

Modification of the dining room and patio for social distancing and seating limitations with all tables at least six feet apart and limiting group sizes
Adding new operational standards to comply with and exceed state and Federal guidelines for safety and sanitation including having an employee dedicated daily to the sanitation of high touch areas
Utilizing technology to provide a “lower contact” experience for all including the Flower Child app for easy ordering, contact-free payment, curbside pick-up and contact-free delivery options
Daily wellness checks for Flower Child teams as well as requiring all employees wear their masks and providing guests with a bag to safely store their masks while they are dining

For more information on Flower Child’s new operational standards please visit the Fox Restaurant Concepts website here.

    A MORE MINDFUL WORLD
To reduce food waste, Flower Child takes steps to conserve and make use of every bit of food, incorporating the same fruits and veggies used to make its main dishes and sides into a rotating daily menu of fresh juice options. Flower Child Oklahoma City will also serve organic wine, local beer, kombucha and cold brew coffee.

    GET CONNECTED, FEEL REWARDED
The brand’s mobile app turns healthy eating into happy rewards, allowing users to place orders on-the-go for customized bowls, wraps, salads and entrées while tracking points redeemable toward a variety of loyalty rewards. Stay connected by following Flower Child on Instagram and Facebook for new menu drops, specials and more.

I’m horrible at suggesting particular dishes but this place is awesome I really liked it. In fact I am thinking of going there today. They’ve been pretty busy every time I’ve gone.

Looks pretty good and we'll probably go there since my wife is strictly vegetarian. But other than Loaded Bowl is there a true vegetarian restaurant in the metro? Probably a dumb question in the heart of meat country.

    Very good suggestion.

And they are putting in another location in downtown Edmond as part of the expanded Railyard project.
