Thread: Nice Spa and Swimming Pool in OKC/Edmond Area?

Default Nice Spa and Swimming Pool in OKC/Edmond Area?

    Hey All!!

My wife and I love Las Vegas and she loves the Spas in her favorite casinos. I know there's probably not going to be anything like what I'm looking for-for her- but I thought I'd ask.

Is there any "Women's Only" Spa where a woman(my wife) could go and use a sauna.....spa.....maybe a swimming pool to just BE QUITE and RELAX like she does in Vegas??

Doesn't really have to be a woman's only if there are areas for a woman to go and be private and quiet. I want to find her a place where she can de-stress.

We bought a new home and maybe in this home we'll have to get another hot tub.

    Thanks.

What I'd like to find for her...here in Oklahoma.....or something half way similar

Check out Udånder in downtown. My wife and a few friends say it’s great. They have different days for men and women I believe.

I hear you. I went to the U-Spa at Barcelo Maya Palace last year and it was awesome. Specialized in Hydrotherapy. Hot and cold tubs. Turkish bath. Steam room. Eucalyptus showers. Very upscale yet very calm.

That being said this market is very under served in OKC. I really don't think we have what you are looking for. There are specialty ones here and there, but not all in the same place. I am kinda surprised some of the newer hotels haven't pounced on this. Maybe the new Omni will have one.

Apparently this hasn't hit my radar. Looks legit.

Yeah, my wife spent like 6hrs there on her birthday. Andrea Mason of barre3 fame is an owner it looks like.

Most likely not what you want but I love Mercy I-35 fitness center. The sana is in the women's locker room is no guys. Nice place. I enjoy the hot tub and pool area. They do offer massage. The clinitel is mostly older people and not real busy. I've never really been to a real spa but all things said, Mercy works for me.

Seems like a serious hole in the market for a nice full service spa in OKC area. Im talking steam and dry sauna, hot tubs, cold plunge pool, massage rooms, nice lockers, showers, and bathrooms.

I have heard Lifetime fitness' spa is pretty nice and has many of these features but requires membership. I suppose a non-member could schedule massage appointment and get to use facilities, never check though.

It's over an hour away but I go to The Artesian in Sulphur at least twice a year to enjoy just what your wife is looking for.
