This new revision looks MILES better than the original proposal - particularly the street level retail facade. Many more windows that helps that space feel more open and inviting. I also appreciate how the exterior of the upper floors has changed a little to have more variation instead of the original monolithic gray. I wasn't huge on this building at first, but if this revision is what gets built, count me as a fan!
Reminder that this is the same architect and developer who is proposing the commercial development (vs. apartments) at 4th & EKG.
They both do great work.
I prefer the original look, but to each their own. I still think it looks good.
there is demolition already happening on the site; i assume we shall begin to see the new construction emerge pretty soon.
Imagine the potential of this area, especially if the Thunder don't put a parking lot across the street and instead build something far more interactive.
i have seen construction on site recently. now that the park is open and the boulevard complete this building will start making more sense. is the garage next door supposed to be going up simultaneously with it?
Knowing this town, the garage will go up first and as a priority, and Boulevard Place will be and after-thought down the road bit.
The garage was always separate from Boulevard Place. That is still a year out I believe. Pete has mentioned this a few times on the convention center thread.
so the apartments building will be adjacent to the boulevard and the parking garage will be adjacent to sw 4th street right accross the street from the fairfield inn.
It looks like they are grading the land. Pete, is construction going to start soon? Expected completion date?
Bump. Seems like this project is lost in the shuffle, any updates?
Would hate to see this die, such a good project and location.

OCURA set to approve final plans for this project on Wednesday.
Should be starting soon now that the parking garage is wrapping up.
I'm glad to hear the pandemic hasn't derailed this project, I was starting to get a little worried.
Anyone else seeing blue question mark boxes instead of pictures?
The image links should now work.
They work for me now.
It may seem silly, but I'm looking forward to this project replacing the retaining wall on that corner.
