This is why the left is outraged about the term. They call things that actually happened fake news. Trump and a large part of the right are doing just the opposite.

because i know everyone on here thinks i am a Dem, because i don't like Trump. i have always said that i don't like him because he isn't a Republican, and doesn't follow what the party should be, but have also always said i will give credit to anyone on any side when they do good. While the Phase 1 of the new China deal doesn't go far enough with regards to IP, it is a step in the right direction. and i am glad to see a reduction in Tarrifs, as well as the promise of China to getting back to buying agricultural products from the US in the amounts under the previous agreement. While this isn't a major change, there are some signs of steps in the right direction (IP is at least mentioned, just doesn't go far enough).

US consumer confidence in the 4th qtr 2019 neared a historic high at 122 points on a scale of 54-138. Just less than the 123 in 2018.

Bloomberg similarly reported US consumer confidence reached a 19 year high last week.

When people look at their 401k and say wow.

Sorry sir, Twitter has already changed to world multiple times over. Its helped overthrow middle east governments in tha Arab Spring and helped to nearly overthrow others. Iran's repressive government blocked it 2 years ago when riots started getting "out of hand" and the Ayatollahs began to truly fear their regime was in danger.

Your obvious obsession with Trump aside, he communicates that way. Like it or not, this is howvhe shares his thoughts and opionions and has used it at times in a way that has radically effected negotiations and events.

Elon Musk was damaging everything important to him through his Tweets.
Others seem to think because someone reTweets something, it has to mean the reTweeter must agree with everything the original Tweeter has ever said.
Trump has never learned his Tweets can be very damaging or very influential. Trump shapes, but then confuses everyone with his. As POTUS, if he uses Twitter as such an important tool, for you to just brush aside Tweets is just being blind or intentionally being ignorant. The same goes for other influencers. Twitter gives small groups great leverage - often far more than it should.

Your disparaging of Twitter is about as wise as ignoring the flashing lights on the police car behind you.

Putin blocked it because of his fear of what would happen to him if he were deposed.

North Korea blocked it because, well, they are North Korea.

Not that long ago Ellen DeGeneres addressed flak from being seen with W on her television show. The heat and pressure were perceived to be real, regardless of where they emanated.

Vince Vaughn would likely do the same...if he had a similar platform to do so.

It's perceived to be real by the people who are the target of this...whatever you want to call it. Are they falsely claiming this.

    My opinion...it's disgusting...period.

Trump is not and never will be Hitler. He is just a man. A man that is full of himself, but just a man none the less. So is Bush. W even seems to be a rather decent human being and as far as I can tell him and Trump only have one thing in common.

Please tell us what forms of media is acceptable.

Does it need cleared by Stalin first

I laugh at people who make wholesale statements like this. Imagine the laughs when a stoneage man still chipped away on stones while others used parchment paper. Like all articles Twitter is a faster/shorter method. Like all articles you have vette or decide how to treat it. Does a person believe everything heard on radio? TV?

Making blanket statements is just a persons way of saying they don’t like the current content yet when it fits that persons narrative then they like it.

I for one love that our POTUS uses it. Not just current one but future ones too. Think about how the message was “molded” and changed from the MSM now and in the past. We are a government for and of the people and its awesome to get news straight from POTUS. Its caught so many off guard after 3 years they still are fuming. The fumers (<new word lol) are upset they cannot control narratives.

I would still like to know, what is the “authorized” way to receive info?

Example of how to use twitter. Keep in mind, I do not have a twitter account. I bookmark several people or accounts and read.

    Ok, so Jack posts this:

    Jack Posobiec
    @JackPosobiec
    Did You Know:

The Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the Obama Administration violated federal law in 44 separate instances

    Clinton lost 31, Bush 30

And none of those were impeachable offenses
    10:33 AM ∑ Jan 16, 2020

And then if you click on the tweet it brings up replies to it. This is where you have to really navigate carefully. But the charm is they can call out the tweet fast (in newspaper days you had to write and wait days to see of a rebuttal is posted).

    So here is a rebuttal:

Can you site a source on this? Not doubting you, but like to know/see the facts directly from the source.
