Thread: Closed Sonic On Broadway

    Edmond Closed Sonic On Broadway

I've noticed that there's been some movement at the closed Sonic on Broadway. This is near the intersection of 15th and Broadway, across the street from the fire station.

Does anyone know what's going in there?

I stopped by the former Sonic on my way to work and actually asked a couple of the construction workers there if they knew what it was going to be, but not even they were informed about it's future use.

Stile99, I have inquired about many construction projects to those working on site in the past, and almost every time I do, someone there is either aware of what will be going into the space, or can provide some relevant information about the project.

It appears the permit applicant for this address is Don Daye who (if it's the same one) owns Thunder Pools and Spas.

Zoning sign out front references truck and car sales.

Excellent! Not nearly enough of those.

The question is; will it be there for 6 months or a year? Unless those vehicles are the best deal on the planet; they won't be sold. Just like the Kalidy operation down the street; I don't see it working out for either of them.
