Wasn't sure of the best place to post this (feel free to move it to an appropriate thread), but apparently OKC's first street murals were approved by City Council today for Classen Ten Penn. Good stuff -- the more of this the better.

Pretty cool, but thought stuff like this wasn't allowed in intersections, seem to remember Urbanized posting something along those lines about the Automobile Alley intersections with the contrasting colors/brick. And please, please, please make sure they buy different paint than the P180 idiots are using to paint crosswalks with!

Not allowed in crosswalks. The intersection itself is not subject to the same restriction, which is why pursued intersections for this demonstration project, which has been worked on for quite some time.
