I would be hard pressed to see how a dark version of the Eddie Sutton story would be produced with the hope of being picked up by ESPN, or anyone else.

Well, let’s see. Sutton’s accomplishments were overshadowed by his issues for years keeping him out of the hall of fame until this year so obviously to many the negatives outweigh the positives.

I recorded it and have watched it a couple times. I was wrong in my original reply. it is dark. Very good, but the majority is about struggle and failure, IMO.
