Thread: Highway lighting travisty ie COPPER THEFT II

Default Highway lighting travisty ie COPPER THEFT II

Just an interesting note. Most all of the lights on I-44 are out from 10th street south to I-40. (Both directions)

All but 3 of the regular lights are out on I-40 from I-44 to I-35 south. (Both directions)

I-35 is 70% out from I-40 to SE 15th street. (Both directions)

That is pretty much the whole central core of highways through the city. I-40 has been out since at LEAST Aug of last year.

Come on OKC, OG&E, Highway department, Can't we get together and get this fixed, this is tacky. What is the point of having a nice city if the highways are dark? Would you want to stop?

The new stretch of I-40 has been mostly out since I moved back here in 2012. I've always just assumed they were waiting for the boulevard to be completed before fixing it.
