    The way we pay our city councilpeople and mayor is ridiculous - Ed has said that even though he won't be around, the council needs to double (if not more) the pay of the city council and mayor to make it a living wage so the members aren't limited to the independently wealthy or those that own their own businesses, and I agree totally.

    I wonder how well that would go over with citizens. Hopefully they would recognize a need for this.
