This is a great looking building. Kudos to the design team and development group that made it happen.

too bad they didn't extend the curtain wall upward to hide the mechanical equipment on top.

This office looks amazing at night, now that there is office equipment moved into most of the upper floors. Honestly this is a way slept-on project here in OKC.

I wish they would add a glass rooftop later.

Really nice picture of the building in Mayor Holt's reply to that first tweet, though I am a little hesitant to embed it here since it's apparently an Oklahoman picture. It's worth clicking through to check out.

I can’t read the story because I don’t have a subscription, but this seems very odd. Can someone with a subscription add some details?

I think a lot of Heartland employees work from home now.

Heartland never owned that building; they were leasees and still are.

The building just sold to new investors.

Why odd? just a property transaction. Good for the local investors and good for ad valorem tax collections.

My apologies, I wasn't aware that Heartland didn't own the building. Sounds good otherwise

Huh, interesting. I've never seen any employees at the building. Good to see a transaction.

If I’m not mistaken this building was essentially a build-to-suit for Heartland and they have a long-term lease. Investors like buildings leased by credit tenants for long terms + renewal options.

BTW, the original developers received $2.3 million in free TIF funds, then turned around and sold the property a couple of years later.

I wonder if the city had a claw-back clause?

Is there anyone in the building now? If the Heartland folks went home like everyone else, is there any meaningful amount of business happening in there now?
