Thread: Heartland HQ

Seems to me like the build to suit lot to the north would be a great place for them to expand in the next couple years. With it being such a small lot chances are it could be one of the taller buildings in Automobile Alley.

That is sweet, both the building and the flyaround image.

wish it were taller and the conference room cube was facing into Broadway. Now that would have made a statement and been awesome having meetings in.

This isn't Bricktown, so an ordinance for Bricktown wouldn't affect it. Plus, the new hotel down there is going to be taller than this.

    No, just finishing the plaza.

Lingo just posted that they expect this project to be complete by the end of July.

I'm sure it will take some time for Heartland to get all their furniture in and get their people set up.

The Oklahoman had previously reported the expect to be operational in August.

They have removed the concrete barriers from the perimeter.

Employees are scheduled to move in next month.

So nice to finally have that sidewalk back open.

only for it to close again due to the expansion.

Hopefully OKC will learn to put up scaffold-protected and keep urban sidewalks open. This will ensure businesses remain viable as the city continues to grow and add density.

As long as the expansion is built on that surface lot, I don't care as much about that. But yes, they should.

So, they are going to do an expansion? Any idea when?

afaik its just a rumor, but they did take on additional space seeing as this building was built too small. And if you see the "plaza" it totally appears to be an expansion footprint which does somewhat lend scredibility to it in the future.

My only wish (besides the expansion itself to actually happen), is the expansion to be a taller building and perhaps have a protruding conference room cube facing into Broadway. Imagine the 15 floor expansion with a cube jutting into B-Way from the 10th floor. ...

I wonder if the idea of it being "too small" will be true in the post-covid world where so many people work remotely?

most of these roles are admin natured, likely requiring them to be done in-office. Also the mission, processing, likely also may require to be done on-site.

but good point about Coronavirus and it's impact to office space. ....

I'm sure this was answered up thread somewhere, but what is the purpose of the random overhang on the east side? Is that a VIP office?
