Congrats to the OU women for winning their second national title in a row. OU has established a dynasty in college gymnastics.

The Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team posted a 198.3875 in the Super Six to claim the national title at the 2017 NCAA Championships on Saturday night.

The national title is the second straight and third overall for the Sooners, who tied with Florida in 2014 for the crown before winning outright in 2016. OU dominated on the bars (49.5875) and beam (49.7000) to open the meet. From there, they never looked back, recording a 49.6125 on floor and a 49.4875 on vault.

Congratulations to the OU Women's gymnastics team on a repeat of their national championship. Gymnastics is a sport that is often overshadowed by the popularity of football, basketball, baseball, ice hockey, wrestling and women's softball.

The physical & mental conditionings are among the most stressful in any sport. These young women are to be commented for their accomplishments.

OU dominated that event from start to end. If LSU had shown up like the did in Super 6 it MAYBE would have been close, but probably not really. It was pretty impressive.

Now, if the NCAA could just adopt some scoring standards similar to the Olympics they would be in business. All these girls getting 9.8s or better is ridiculous. This from a guy who's wife believes there was only 1 perfect 10 EVER and knows far more than I could imagine about gymnastics.
