Far North Mama Rita's on Memorial

Looks like a "Mama Rita's is going in the old Applebees up on Memorial. Anyone know if this is a chain, or locally owned? I saw ownership of the property changed late January 2017.

Not a chain, will be operated by locals.

The former Applebee's was bought about a month ago but a local investor and now will be leased to Mama Rita's.

    Far North Mama Rita's

Locally owned Mexican place to open in old Applebee's at 2610 W. Memorial.

Mamá Rita's Mexican Kitchen is ecstatic to bring border-style Mexican food to Oklahoma City! Our favorite menu items consist of Mamá's Special Marinated Fajitas, authentic Mexican street tacos, down to our Ceviche that is to die for! Not to mention the complimentary cheese sauce, salsa, and endless hand-made flour tortillas! Join us for a Mamá Rita Margarita and enjoy the fiesta!!

Hope they make it. Applebees was there for quite a while, but it seems like that area on Memorial has alot of restaurant turnover.

Looks like another on bites the dust on memorial road. Noticed it was pitch black at 6pm this Monday evening

That's a shame... really liked them. But there are so many good Mexican choices...
