There is a lot going on. It is just a special plate. I hope the next standard issue is just all white or black. I like the new New York plate.

I tend to like the "Bison" plate, but there ain't no way in hell I'm giving extra money to the state for the privilege of owning one.

Bump to remind folks that OK has to get 100 applicants for this plate by May 1, 2020 in order to produce them. No idea how many they have, but we're putting our applications in the mail Monday, so only at most 98 to go.

If they would allow tag lights to be UV, I def would go with the psychedelic tag.

$40, and $20 of that goes to the Nature Conservancy of Oklahoma.

I’ll order one. I turned my front yard into a butterfly sanctuary. 9 different kinds of milkweed, no insecticides, lots of nectar flowers and a wee bit of buffalo grass.

We've been ripping out the crappy invasive plants and trees the previous owners had put in, finally have most of them gone (except a privet tree, but that may be gone this year), and we're going to start planting good stuff for butterflies, etc. also.

Nice! Blacklight painted license plates! Is Spencers still open?

I do like this one a lot. The Scissortales were a good try but no one outside OK could figure out what it was.

They need to do a better job of marketing the custom plates and allow it to be your main plate instead of carrying two plates. The main state plate can be just plain grey on black like Texas has right now.

The red color of the Bison plate went well with my red car, so couldn't resist buying one.

We have three cars and all three have personalized plates. I really do wish they would simply make the personalized plate the only plate. I don’t mind the fees but it can be a pain to keep up with 6 when I could just have 3.

The butterfly plate looks really cool, it is better than the current plate, I am thinking of getting the butterfly plate to replace the awful current plate

It may not go good with the color of your car. But if I had a yellow car, I'd probably want it.

has Anyone heard anything further on Oklahoma redesigning the license plates for the new branding yet?

I’d love something simple like the Texas plates

A simplistic design like Texas or California would be awesome.

Agreed. I have a 46 star plate. I love it. This isn't mine below but you get the idea. I've received compliments from quite a few people. Simple but catches your eye.

I've noticed that a lot of Republicans tend to get the 46 star "red flag" license plate.
