    Mustang Hampton Inn & Suites coming to Mustang

    The Mustang paper announced that a Hampton Inn will be coming to Mustang. Location is set to be between Aaron's and the Okie Car Wash.

    Dirt work has began and according the the Mustang City manager report will be opening in Spring of 2017.

    That is an itty bitty piece of land. I don't know where people are going to park.

    If I remember right it's going to be a 4 story hotel. I think they had to change something with the city code though. So if they build vertical I could see it working there.

    If I'm not mistaken, this will be the tallest structure in Mustang. The closest structure (not a water or radio tower) that comes to mind is the press box at Bronco Stadium.

    Took a picture of the progress. What I find odd is the structure is completely wooden. I thought there would be a steel structure. It is the tallest building in Mustang. I took the picture from a distance to show the height

    Almost all hotels around this size I've seen built are wood. It really has changed the look of this end of town. Will be interesting to see it done.

    I drive by his hotel almost daily and the lot is usually packed especially on the weekends. I would not be surprised if a other one is built in Mustang.

    Me too, and I agree completely. Supposedly they have been trying to re-zone right there on monocoupe. Apparently another national brand has inquired about putting another hotel.
