My sources are saying the fees & overhead are just astronomical at The Collective. Even if you are totally killing the game with your sales, the average deal structure really hurts net margins.

I was in downtown Houston last week and went to Bravery Chef Hall which is very similar to The Collective. Instead of a rooftop patio they have a garden space at ground level with seating. Worth checking out if you're down there.

That sounds neat. Minor tangent, I enjoy the space at Stitch for that reason.

Phill Me Up Cheesesteaks is going to have a kitchen in The Collective.

They had submitted building permits for the old French Cowgirl space on Western Ave, but this must be instead.

Minor sidebar, I think the French Cowgirl space is going to be a yoga studio

Back on topic: Beth Lyons black cat closed, and saw as of least this sunday it is now occupied by a sub saharan restaurant Edies?

Edies has been open for awhile. I've had everything there. Meat is always cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Is this related to the new Edies in Edmond?

    No.

Eddie's in Edmond is with two d's and is completely separate ownership and type of food.

Just shut down. SIAP has a few definitions haha. Glad I did a double take after reading the urban dictionary one.

Did Theo’s Donuts shut down or move elsewhere? I personally thought the donuts sucked.

Theo's shut down at the start of the pandemic. Though, I thought the donuts were great, just a little pricey.

A few weeks ago a pizza place took over the space that Vuong's Cafe De L'Asie left. It's called Mozz and Mari's and they serve NY form factor pizza. I say it that way cause the slices are huge, however they run crunchier than NY style, and there is more sauce on the pizza.

    Couple of questions:

Is live music just random or is it just certain days/nights that they have it? Saw various dates that they mention it on their FB page, and seems kinda random.

Another FB post from July said their A/C has been out for months, can anybody confirm/deny that they currently have A/C?

    Thx...
