Here is GFS for tomorrow:
General 0-2 inches unless one of the snowbands really gets cranking. Also the track is favoring southern OK at the moment, exact placement won't be predictable until we see radar trends.

I posted just above your post.
I don't know where you are talking about, but assuming OKC - cold both mornings, Saturday morning possibly snowing and likely windy.
Also after this brief winter show tonight into tomorrow, we will focus on the 20th-21st.
Early preliminary estimates from GFS is 6-10 inches over I-44 area.
Well this was a dud.....
My friends got about 5inches by Arbuckle.
Latest GFS runs have the next storm dusting Eastern Oklahoma and no snow at all in the rest of the state. Similar low amounts have been consistent through the last day or so of runs. The areas that get snow just shifting some.
So is winter about over now? I saw 60s for next week.
That's what I am beginning to wonder. Looks like we are heading for a boring winter again. Sigh
I'm going to be very disappointed if we don't get at least one good snow.
If we have to put up with oppressive heat/drought in the summer the least the weather Gods could do was bless us with a decent snowstorm at least once a year.
Next chance of action looks to be around Feb 1.
As of now the February 1-2 storm is very powerful. Current projected track is too far north for significant precipitation impact for OK at this time. However, it will be extremely cold after this storm passes.
Will keep this updated as we approach next month.
Here is a neat video of rain in Oklahoma during all of 2015.

I'm really starting to think we are not going to get a reals snowfall this season.
Weren't the last two winters pretty similar?
Just wondering when we last had a really decent accumulation.
sure doesn't seem the same around here with Venture leaving.
I will miss Venture more when tornado season comes around. The chat room is fun to be in during the storms.
The big February 1-3 storm has trended south on track every single run over the last few days. Right now heavy snow cutoff is around central Kansas.
