    The headline suggests they haven't paid their peoples. If that's the case they deserve the bill. I've worked under a promise of payment of $4.15 minimum wage that never came. I've been stiffed on checks who "forgot their wallet" and never came back. Shorting employees that work in such a thankless employ as food service is egregious.

    FWIW, not every debt can be discharged in a bankruptcy. This includes certain debts owed to the government. Whether this specific debt can or can not be included in a BR proceeding, I haven't looked to see.
