Enid’s Woodring Airport set to see some runway reconstruction as part of some grants awarded by the state:

Enid Woodring Regional Airport also had a project approved by the Commission. Phase 1 of the project consists of reconstructing the airport’s crosswind runway, which will be used by local and transient general aviation traffic. PS to the mods, and chance we could get this thread moved to the suburban and other OK communities section? That’s where most of these types of threads are: https://www.okctalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=109

Right. I thought it strange that your Stillwater/OSU Projects subject title got moved from the Suburban and Other OK Communities section to here. Several other Oklahoma cities are in this section, too. But some of the authors, including myself, wrongly put them there.

Looks like Enid may get a nice sized bowling alley and movie theatre. I wonder if it’ll be a Showbiz. Not many details out at the moment.

Great for Enid and NW Oklahoma. With the permanent closing of AMC in the Oakwood Mall, the nearest movie theatre I think was Kingfisher or Stillwater, quite a void for a town of 50,000+.
