So, as is our habit every Saturday night about 10:00 pm, we had the radio tuned to KUCO in order to catch "Weekend Radio". It is an amazing program and the only one I know of that starts with an old Bob and Ray audio clip.
Last night's program ended with this "Seasonal" piece.
At first I thought it was the guy who did a voiceover on an old Loreena McKennnet composition, but my wife quickly reminded me that it was Dylan Thomas. I found it to be absolutely mesmerizing, prose/poetry of the highest order.
It also reminded me of the line from that old Simon and Garfunkel song:
" . . . he's so unhip that when you say 'Dylan' he thinks you're talking about Dylan Thomas . . .
whoever HE was."
Merry Christmas.
