Not yet. My original plan was to come down there April 10th but my cousin is coming from Port Charlotte FL and I want to see her for a little bit. So I've pushed it back 12 days to the 22nd.

I think I may have said, but I can't remember. I am moving to California and am taking a detour.

I think I may actually spend a few days exploring Austin and then a few days for San Antonio.

Both Metropolitan Area's grew roughly 60,000 each. A total of almost 120,000 new people between 2013-2014. We can expect that trend to continue for a long while.

I think this says a lot about the Texas Triangle MegaRegion (which oddly -- to me, at least -- includes OKC and Tulsa). The only other two megaregions represented on this list are Florida and Gulf Coast.

Btw they are redoing some of the beaches in Galveston in which to make them look more attractive adding new boardwalks, retail as well as adding extra sand, and cleaning up litter on the beach.
