Urgent Prayer Request

I am posting this with the realization that not everyone believes in God or in prayer. Your good thoughts are welcomed. That being said....

I was informed this morning that my ex-wife and the Mother of our 12 year old Son was transported to the Oklahoma Heart Hospital yesterday afternoon. She is currently on life support and the next 24 hours (as of 2 hours ago) are critical. Please keep her, Rebecca and our Son Jacob in your prayers.

(I came across an old song by Trace Balin, just Today, in a different context, that gave me a lot of comfort back in 1990, in similar circumstances. The name of the song is "In the Eye of the Hurricane." It is easily available online and has a good message . . . in the sense of standing True outside of time, tides or tribulations.)

My uncle just had emergency heart surgery yesterday and it went very smoothly. I'm hoping your ex has a happy outcome as well!

Prayers for your ex, prayers for your son, and prayers for you for being able to ask for prayers for an ex. And the Oklahoma Heart Hospital provides amazing care. They had me ready to go home 3 1/2 days after cracking my chest open. Their care is second to none.

UPDATE: I was just informed about 30 minutes ago that my ex-wife's family will make a decision tonight about taking Rebecca off life-support. It has been up and down. They were able to get her body temp up and then had to start dialysis. The family, which consists of her children ages 24, 22 and 20, (and our Son, Jacob) were informed that their Mother would not be the same person they knew before this latest heart attack.

My heart goes out to all the ones who love her. What a horrible position and choice to make. Thank you for letting us know. This is a hard day for the family.
