I prefer Red, but they're both outstanding. With this and Ruth's Chris eventually, it'll be even better.

Is that ever going to happen.....Geez seems like they've been running commercials here for about the last five years now.

They keep saying so here, but I'll worry about it when they break ground. There are some pretty outstanding options for steak already, it's not like I'm missing out.

Still think Ruth's Chris will be coming to Classen Curve in the empty lot just south of Upper Crust.

Glimcher has only owned the properties a month or so... Give them time to close that deal as well as Trader Joe's.

No on Hal being a restaurant flipper.

Ruth's Chris is massive. Those are national spot commercials you see.

Just learned Broadway 10 will be taking over 8,000 square feet on the ground floor plus the full, super-cool mezzanine.

This is going to be a big, elaborate operation with a large bar featured prominently.

They are taking all the space in yellow; darker yellow is the mezzanine.

Any clue on target date to open? Very excited about prospect of a another good local steak place.

They haven't even filed the building permits for the finish-out.

    Early fall is the target.

Steve has a great article on this today. Based on it and the accompanying video, this looks like it is going to be a fantastic development.

The proprietors provided these detailed renderings from Fitzsimmons Architects; note the massive bar in the center:

I suspect it will take a prominent place in my rotation.

so is this going to take up the entire frontage facing Broadway? there's a small space facing Broadway on the north end of the building. wondering if there is something else going in there, or if it will be a part of this project

If this place is good, I'm going to go broke with all these new restaurant openings. We could use a good, cheap falafel place to mix it up a little.

Or a really good cheap halal stand like the one on the corner next to the New York Hilton

$317,000 building permit application today for this project. Remember, this does not include furniture and fixtures which will be substantial here.

    Should be starting construction soon.

Some more details on this restaurant...

First look at the signage; understated but very cool. I suspect they will use window graphics to denote "Broadway 10".

Also, detailed floor plan shows a separate entrance for carry-out and a chef's table.

They are getting busy on their construction with the hopes of being open before the end of the year (from their FB page):

They have said they wanted to be open by December, and I'm starting to believe they could make it:
