2nd and Coltrane development?

Anybody know what is going to be developed on the south side of 2nd Street, just east of Coltrane? They moving dirt around....

That may be a 7-11. I know there are plans for one at that intersection, and they've been filing permits and such with the city.

I've been wondering about this as well. They have managed to get rid of every tree in sight. It makes me want to cry every time I drive by there.

Agreed, it would be nice to see these native Oak Trees(black jacks and other scrub Oaks) kept and incorporated into the landscaping. They are the best trees around I've seen and they can withstand nearly any windspeed.
