They are still working through some requests from the city on their building permit.
Okay, cool. I know it looked like they were getting ready to start a few months ago, but then the fence disappeared. I was hoping they didn't cancel the project.
There was a construction crew on site today digging at the northeast corner of the lot. I couldn't tell what they were doing. Hopefully they'll be starting construction pretty soon

They are working on utilities.
We should start to see some bigger progress soon.
In the OCURA agenda for tomorrow, they are set to vote on extending the completion date by a year.
The new date would be 12/31/23.
Based on their previously approved schedule, that would mean they need to start there by late this fall.

Thanks for all the pictures, Pete. Always appreciated.
Infill is good, glad to see it finally going
Are there any more detailed renderings?
They are gonna need a crane for this one, since its over 4 stories, correct?
jw, if there was a one story concrete or masonry podium, would it be 6 stories above the podium or 6 stories from earth?
Rendering makes it look as if there'll be a bit of a road diet along Shartel and 5th, which would be good. And the fact that the corner of the building is just a few feet from the curb makes me think that too.
Speaking of cranes, this is from today.
My guess is they'll use it for the parking structure; the rest of the development may be constructed out of wood.
