Default Taking Shots at Okla. Justice

Anyone read this weeks Gazette yet? Interesting story regarding an article that appeared in the Dallas Observer.

    Ouch to say the least.

I would post links to each article, but you guys have some goofy rule that won't let me.

Didn't we have a politician that ran a stop sign and killed someone and he only got a suspended sentence? How do they justify giving this poor woman 40 years?

Regardless of the sentence, it seems the prosecutors would stop at nothing to get a conviction.

Unfortunately, it's different strokes for different folks. However, it's not just an Oklahoma problem. I would suggest the Dallas Observer look in its own backyard in a state ripe with an overzealous legal system.

It does explain why our prisons are so crowded. Throwing the book at every little crime doesn't deter future crime
