Ned's came to an agreement with Noah's which still owns the property, even though they are closed.

How are they able to use the existing Noah's facility?
If I own a small store and my competitor goes out of business, and they are being investigated for fraud, I can't just go onto their property and reopen it.
Can I? If so, that is a game changer. Someone in oil and gas should go after squatters rights in an empty CHK building.

Apparently Noah’s sold the property here to a group out in CA which leased it back to them and Noah’s has stiffed them for about the last year. I’m sure they gladly worked out a deal with Ned’s with the hope of making some of that money back.

That makes good sense and restores my understanding. I will cancel my plans to occupy CHK with a shell corporation.
