Can i get a shout out on the twitter post, @BorelliTony
Saw them installing some corner glass today also.
Start on the 14th floor this coming week--with 4 to go. At this rate of one floor per week it should top out the 2nd or 3rd week of September.
From Sunday; just finishing the roof of the 14th floor.
any damage?
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
Doubt if there were any significant damages other than the metal sheets or we would have heard something by now.
Keep those pics coming, Pete. Reminder, the MAPS 3 convention center ($288 million project) was the least popular project and most expensive on the last initiative.
Now, we can hardly wait for its opening.
TBH, I don't think the CC was the least popular project in itself (that would probably go to the fairgrounds, which surely would not even think of passing without being in MAPS - as we see in M4). I think people realize OKC needed a new cc and that the Cox is horribly small and outdated.
Why people hated the CC was the chamber's insistence that it be FIRST and that it be the largest project and that it be next to the Myriad Gardens. All of this force feeding from L Nichols and Co is why people hated the CC, not the cc itself but the bullying that took place.
Turns out the CC is the LAST project and is in the original location long visioned by M3 creator and Core-2-Shore visionary - Mick Cornett. If the Chamber had put the cc last and/or moreso if the chamber hadn't been such a bully - I don't think the cc would have had any resistance or resentment.

So weird to see that much glass going in when the structure is still unfinished. I suppose the answer is that it's the exact right amount of finished for glass in those areas.
Out of curiosity, were those last two from ground level also taken with the drone?
Where was that bottom picture taken from? That will offer a nice view of the hotel when it's finished.
That's 16 of 17 floors but there will also be a crown.
When are they going to build out the area next door that has dummy rooms for people to see?
drove by earlier today, this project looks really tall from the highway...its alot taller than I thought it would be.
Just finishing up the 17th floor.
The 17th floor looks a bit taller than the lower room floors. Must be suites.

Not sure if anyone has posted yet but I ran across these renderings that show the light elements at night.
