A trip back in time.

A friend took me to Hamburger King in Shawnee last Friday night. Wow. It was like going back in time to the 50's or early 60's. I had never heard of it. It is a burger joint/diner that has been in the same location on east Main in Shawnee since 1927. Very cool and the burger and wedge fries were very good too. A piece of nostalgia 30 miles away. I'll be going back soon.

They have one I think in Ada also which I've been to and it was delicious too. Never been to the one in Shawnee, cause if I'm going to Shawnee I always stop at Taco Tico.
