Even though there is an abundance of good burger joints, I'd still have to go with Shake Shack.

    Buco di Beppo.

Are we talking chains here, or just any restaurant?

    Giordano's Pizza (from Chicago)

Not that its 'so over the top great' - but I love me some Torchy's Tacos from Austin. It's my goto 'fast food' choice when I'm visiting.

I'd take it over BTT or other casual Mexican fare any day.

I would say Boston Market. Out of all of Charlotte's great restaurants, I can't believe I actually miss a fast food chain the most. However, eating there was a regular occurrence for me (Pappadeaux was not). I don't think OKC has any fast-casual rotisserie chicken places other than the Wal-Mart deli. Somebody correct me if I am wrong on that.

I would like to see a Salt Lick BBQ set up like the one in Driftwood (outside of Austin) with a large outdoor space, live music right on the Oklahoma River. Maybe near the DT Airpark once that area gets better developed.

We ate at a Torchy's on our last trip to Austin and pretty much said the same thing about it and BTT.

I would be pretty darn happy to see any kind of Central Texas style Q-raunt open up here..... Thought that was going to be Back Door BBQ but I was mistaken.

In and out would be nice but there are so many great burger places here that I would be ok if we didn't get one. Ten years ago, I would have been dying for one.

This is tough, I have a few I would really like to see, but right now I am really hungry for Corky's Barbecue out of Memphis, so I will go with that for the moment. I think this thread will vary based on my current craving.

Corky's is pretty good. Personally I think the Memphis style of BBQ is my favorite. It's a regional thing though and I would be surprised to see it come this far west.

My two top choices have already been mentioned with Torchys and Fogo De Chao, but a personal favorite of mine that destroys any barbecue in OKC is Railhead Smokehouse in Fort Worth

I'd really like to see a good fish n chips place. My personal favorite is Eamonn's in Alexandria, VA Welcome to Eamonn's a Dublin Chipper

I also agree with Sid, a real ice cream parlor would be awesome.

Lots of great ones! I too would love to see Boston Market.

7 or 8 years ago my main preference was Fuddrucker's, and they were supposed to come to Memorial Square and I-240, but that fell through and I think they have stopped building and have closed many.
